The days of using animal intestines as a cover to provide contraception are pretty much over. In order to turn raw latex milk into a condom, various manufacturing steps have to be gone through. And this is where vegan condoms differ from non-vegan condoms, because one of the additives used by most producers as an aid to processing the raw material is casein.
