These miniature solar cells are ideal for experiments as well as off-grid power supplies for small consumers or for charging batteries. To achieve the desired voltage and current, the modules can simply be connected individually or also in parallel or in series. Appropriate soldering pads are provided on the back for this purpose. These miniature solar cells are available in a monocrystalline version. The monocrystalline cells have a uniform dark colour and consist of a single silicon crystal. Compared to polycrystalline cells with a recognisable crystal structure, monocrystalline cells have a slightly better efficiency.
