In 1979, S. Fischer published Reiner Kunze's children's book 'Das Kätzchen' with pictures by the painter Horst Sauerbruch. More than thirty years later, another joint work by the two artists has now been created. The one conjures up all kinds of animals, flowers and incidents on paper with words and rhymes, the other transforms them into light, playful and colorful pictures. In this way, nature comes alive in the book and becomes an instructive visual lesson. For all inquisitive readers, the author also explains some curious biological facts in simple language in the appendix.
