Hedy and Spencer spend the holidays for the first time with their grandfather, whose house hides all sorts of curious things. With no wifi and Grandpa John's "don't touch anything" motto, it seems like it should be a quiet holiday for the two siblings. But on the very first night, it becomes clear that the curious house on Hoarder Hill holds some secrets: Hedy and Spencer's grandmother Rose disappeared decades ago at a magic show, and Grandpa John doesn't want to talk about it. When Hedy and Spencer receive mysterious messages, they set out to solve the mystery of Grandma Rose's disappearance.
