The receiver features a new, modern housing design that is compact and streamlined ideal for almost any RC application. The housing also features an additional antenna guard and a bracket for an antenna tube for seamless installation.
No more bind plugs!
An easy-to-reach button puts you directly into bind mode. Plus, during the bind process, you have the choice of using SmartSafe™ and preset gas failsafe options. With the combination of these features, Spektrum offers riders more features in an affordable receiver that simply offers more safety while riding.
Compact Design
The SR215/SR315/SR515 (change for each SKU) can be used in very small and tight vehicles. We have removed all unnecessary edges on the housing, making the receiver so streamlined that installation is easier than ever. The housing provides extra antenna protection and a mount for an antenna tube for those models that don't have a good antenna installation option.
Bind Button
This new technology eliminates the need for the old bind plug. On the SR215/SR315/SR515 (change for each SKU), the top-mounted bind button makes binding the receiver easier than ever and also provides two bind sequence options that further simplify the process by allowing you to bind the receiver at power-up or while it is already powered up.
Gas Mode Failsafe
In the SR215/SR315/SR515 (change for each SKU) we have included our newest failsafe, the "Gas Mode Failsafe". Gas Mode allows you to define a preset position for each available channel while binding. In addition, SmartSafe™ can be activated, which reduces the gas to the lowest setting and maintains the last known signal on all other channels.
