Die nichthaftende Let’s Protect Inadine Wundauflage besteht aus einem gewobenen Cellulose-Acetat und ist mit Polyethylenglykol imprägniert, welches 10% Povidon-Iod enthält. Dabei ist Iod eine hoch wirksame topische antimikrobielle Substanz, welche ein breites antimikrobielles Wirkspektrum gegen Bakterien, Mikrobakterien, Pilze, Einzeller und Viren hat. Ausserdem minimiert die Auflage die Anhaftung am Wundbett, wodurch das Risiko reduziert wird, dass Granulationsgewebe beim Verbandwechsel geschädigt wird.
