Milupa Aptamil Protein plus is used for premature babies with a very low body weight (less than 1 kg). This preparation is used as a supplement to enriched breast milk or premature baby food to optimally cover the protein requirement. It is taken only under medical supervision and is used with constant monitoring by measuring the blood urea nitrogen content as well as the protein content of the breast milk. Milupa Aptamil Eiweiss plus is not intended to be used as the sole substitute for breast milk, but only in addition to breast milk or infant nutrition.
