Contopharma GPHCL Rinse S\n The non-abrasive, gentle care system for all common dimensionally stable gas permeable contact lenses. The ideal combination of the solutions "Clean R" and "Rinse S" results in gentle care and optimal wearing comfort of the contact lenses.\n Contopharma "Clean R" is the result of a prolonged development1 in search of a non-abrasive (to protect the lenses), surfactant-containing formulation with high cleaning power without excessive irritation in direct eye contact. Contopharma "Clean R" is free of disinfectants containing heavy metals.\n Contopharma "Rinse S" is a polyfunctional rinsing and storage solution for dimensionally stable gas permeable contact lenses. It keeps the lens in a hydrated, isotonic state and inhibits the growth of contaminating microorganisms, without accumulation of the mucosa-tolerant preservative on the surface of the con- tact lenses. A special blend of combined polymers ("antisoiling agent") hydrophilizes the con- tact lens to optimize wearing comfort, facilitates the cleaning process ("antisoiling effect") and largely prevents accumulation of contaminants while minimizing secondary immune reactions (eye redness; GPC, etc.).\n.
