New to the CONTOUR meter is a measurement method known as multi-pulse. The multi-pulse principle means that seven separate measuring pulses within the measuring time result in a highly precise measured value. In addition, the technology of the sensors has also been improved. The CONTOUR NEXT sensors are highly stable against environmental influences and thus support even more accurate measurement results.ApplicationThe CONTOUR blood glucose meter is ready for immediate use without any presettings. The small amount of 0.6 µl of blood is sufficient for a precise and reliable determination of the blood glucose value. After only five seconds, the measurement result is shown on the display in easy-to-read and large numbers. You can then determine your individual therapy measure. If the first drop of blood was not large enough, you have the option of refilling blood a second time on the same sensor within 30 seconds.
