Feliway Spray

The spray helps perfectly to prevent the urine and scratch marking of the cat. The cat relaxes, feels safe and comfortable. If required, supported by the Feliway atomizer. Feliway is the synthetic replica of a natural "fragrance messenger", the so-called facial pheromone, which the cat releases into the environment via special glands on the head. This allows a cat to mark areas of its territory where it feels safe and secure. The natural marking with pheromones is extremely important for the well-being of a cat. When rubbing against objects and brushing along furniture and walls, so-called facial pheromones are released from certain glands. These convey trust, peace and security and the cat receives "feel-good signals" that can help her to survive stressful situations and to mark the surroundings as safe. If these "lucky pheromones" are missing, e.g. because the cat is too stressed or has been brought into an unknown environment like a new Home, Feliway quickly and easily ensures well-being - the "fragrant" support for a harmonious coexistence of man and cat. Feliway has the same positive properties as the natural facial pheromone and gives the cat the soothing feeling of being in a familiar and safe environment. Feliway is not perceptibly distributed through the ambient air by an atomizer. The atomizer designed for this purpose covers an area of 50-70 sqm for around 4 weeks. Feliway can also be used as a spray directly on particularly critical points or objects (e.g. in cases of fear of the transport box or excessive scratch and urine marking). If possible, Feliway use should be started one week before the stressful event and should be performed for 4 weeks. If a change of behaviour is desired in the cat, e.g. ending of urine or scratch marks, Feliway should be used for at least another 2 weeks after the end of the behaviour. If it is helpful for the cats (e.g. with very sensitive cats), Feliway may of course also be used permanently. Feliway is nature-identical, so even very small kittens as well as sick and/or older animals can relax with Feliway.
