Haakaa Syringe

With this syringe, you can easily give your baby milk, liquid food or medicine, and you can do it clean and without waste. The special feature of the syringe are the two openings on the side of the nipple tip. This way the liquid is injected sideways into the baby's mouth instead of straight backwards, which significantly reduces the risk of swallowing. Unlike the traditional syringes with hard tips, the tip of the Haakaa syringe is made of soft silicone and therefore the baby can suck on it like on a nipple or bottle. The Haakaa syringe measures liquids in 5 ml steps, so it is not ideal for smaller amounts. How to use it: Fill the syringe with the correct amount of medicine - always check that the amount is correct. Place your baby in your lap looking away from you. Insert the syringe tip into your baby's mouth. As soon as he starts sucking, you can slowly push the plunger into the syringe. Cleaning and care: Wash the syringe before and after each use. Although the syringe is dishwasher safe, it is recommended to wash the syringe by hand with warm soapy water, rinse well and then dry it. Do not use aggressive agents such as sterilising tablets or bleach. The syringe (without plunger) can be sterilized in a steam sterilizer or by boiling it in hot water for 2-3 minutes. Note: Check regularly that the syringe is still completely intact and replace it if it shows any signs of damage. Do not store it near sharp objects. This is not a toy. Only use the syringe for its intended purpose. Store the syringe in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight. Use only under adult supervision.
