Since the 1950s, the Kartell label has been delighting customers with furniture and accessories made of plastic. The company was founded in 1949 by Giulio Castelli, a chemist who was researching new types of materials. Initially, he had developed plastic parts for the automotive industry, among other things. But from then on he also experimented with new materials and their applications, which also led to ever new innovations at Kartell. But not only the materials used, but also the visual appearance of the product promised something new. Thus, the products presented themselves differently, if not futuristic.
A cute table lamp with appealing design
This desk lamp was created by Kartell's collaboration with Moschino by Jeremy Scott. The result is a lamp that can also be used as a decorative piece in the home. This is also ensured by the unobtrusive dimensions with a width of 24 centimeters, a height of 30 centimeters and a depth of 26 centimeters.
A versatile design
Jeremy Scott is one of the most up-and-coming designers of the present day. Born in Kansas City in 1975, Jeremy Scott studied fashion design in New York after his schooling. After graduating, he made a name for himself in the world of design with his work from the 1990s onwards. Among other things, he was nominated as "Best Young Designer" by the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 1999. The US designer celebrated further successes in the following years. For example, from 2008 he worked for Adidas and created a collection that also found a large following in the hip-hop scene.
