There are days when, for style reasons, baggy is the only way to go. But there's also always the question of whether the look justifies a compromise on comfort - and you end up wearing Lycra® after all. So we set out to develop a better baggy.
We chose a stretch fabric that offers great elasticity while being incredibly lightweight yet durable. Thanks to a DWR finish, mud and water simply roll off. We give the shorts two open jeans-style pockets to make sure nothing falls out. The pretty könpernahe cut lets you look good even when the bike tour is over. And in the saddle, the baggy does not inflate like a balloon, but gives a subtle look.
This short doesn't have its own seat pad, so wear it over your favorite Castelli shorts. The Superleggera is a good choice for warmer weather, or the Unlimited if you want the extra pockets.
