Description
Worldwide, herbal teas have a long tradition, they have been prepared for thousands of years.
It is an art to mix tea plants, so you should use proven blends.
The acceptance by dogs of teas is usually excellent. Both pure and as a food additive, they are readily accepted. The tea preparation makes the ingredients highly available.
Herbal teas should be given for two to four weeks.
The amount of tea depends on the size of the dog, about 250 ml a day for a medium-sized dog is an approximate guideline. For smaller dogs, the amount is halved, quartered or even quavered. For large dog breeds such as Newfoundland, Bernese Mountain Dog or Great Dane can even be fed up to twice the amount.
You can offer the tea undiluted next to the drinking water or give it over the food.
The tea keeps in the refrigerator for one to two days.
