Predominantly herbivorous catfish like the Loricariidae are optimally fed by Sera with these fast sinking and dimensionally stable food chips. Even shy and demanding catfish accept the food immediately. The integrated wood fibres perfectly imitate food in nature and have a positive influence on the digestive process. The food remains stable for a long time and does not cloud the water.
Immune protection for fish
The fish's immune system can be supported, for example, by administering beta-glucans (yeast extracts) - this reduces the fish's susceptibility to diseases, makes them healthier and increases their life expectancy. Body colours can be enhanced by adding certain plants whose secondary ingredients also have a positive effect on the overall metabolism of the fish. The well-known long-chain and unsaturated omega-3 and 6 fatty acids have a particularly positive effect on the cell membranes of nerve cells, the heart and circulatory system. They must be ingested as essential fatty acids with plant and animal food and are present in sera feed.
With vitamins, which act as catalysts in the metabolism of fish and which we specially mix for the application, we achieve better results than with ready-to-use mixtures, which are the basis for feed types from other manufacturers.
