BIODIVERS
42 different plants from untreated meadows are processed.
Rabbits have access to a variety of green plants in the wild. We see it as our task to offer this also in our rabbit nutrition. And thus provide the necessary raw fibre content, the coarse fibre structure and last but not least a piece of home.
Optimum raw fibre/starch ratio
positive for gastrointestinal tract - protects against fatty degeneration.
Crude fiber:
Crude fibre is particularly important for the health of rabbits: For digestive activity, for the appendix, and with the coarse fibre structure for the abrasion of teeth. A good feed should contain between 20% and 21% crude fibre.
Strength:
Starch is mainly an energy supplier and should be present in the feed in limited quantities. For a good feed the guideline value is less than 7% starch. In addition, the energy supply can be described as suboptimal, i.e. too much starch.
Optimized calcium content
Calcium is an important mineral in the rabbit's organism. The calcium found in the rabbit's body is mainly found in the bones and teeth. Calcium intake with the diet is therefore particularly important for keeping the animals healthy.
However, an increased calcium content in adult rabbits can lead to urinary gravel or even bladder stones. Unfortunately, this is now not uncommon. It is therefore important to choose the right components.
TriMello® technology
To fully meet the nutritional and behavioural needs of rabbits, we have developed the TriMello®.
