Application

What is bamboo?
Bamboo grows faster than any other plant in the world. In the process, it produces considerably more oxygen and binds significantly more CO2 than trees during its rapid growth (max. 1 m/day). This has a regulating effect on the natural ecosystem and a positive impact on the eco-balance of the manufacturing process. Worldwide, bamboo covers an area of about 37 million hectares, of which about six million are in China and nine million in India. The toothbrush is manufactured by us in cooperation with local companies in China, i.e. directly where the bamboo grows.

Behind Hydrophil are the two friends Sebastian Bensmann, social pedagogue, 31 years, employee of Viva con agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. for education & development and Christoph Laudon, 27, educator, co-founder and owner of Lets Go Surfing Clothing as well as Grüne Minna undogmatische Küche.
