Gently softens fine wrinkles and smoothes the particularly delicate skin around the eyes.Active ingredients:Macadamia nut oil: Is obtained by cold pressing from the chestnut-like drupes of the evergreen tree. The light yellow oil is characterized by a high content of palmitoleic acid. This rare fatty acid promotes the oil's ability to be absorbed and ensures good spreadability (spreadability). Since its fatty acid composition is similar to that of human sebum, Maccadamia nut oil is excellent for dry, brittle and sensitive skin. It has skin smoothing, softening and regenerating effects.Sesame oil (Oleum sesami): Is obtained by pressing the seeds of the thimble-like sesame plant, which contain about 50% oil. Sesame oil is light yellow, almost odorless, mild in taste. It has a high content of essential linoleic acid and is a natural antioxidant due to the active ingredient sesamol.Phytosqualan: Is a colorless, odorless oily liquid obtained from olive oil. Squalane in unsaturated form (squalene) is an essential component of the skin's own hydro-lipid film and is therefore particularly skin-friendly. We use the saturated form, which prevents the oxidation of skin's own fats (by free radicals). Squalane has moisturizing properties, spreads well, i.e. it is very easy to spread, and makes the skin feel silky. Because of its good absorption properties, squalane serves as a glide path into the skin for the other active ingredients.Hyaluronic acid: Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide and a natural component of connective tissue. It has a skin-firming and smoothing effect. Only hyaluronic acid produced biotechnologically is used. When dissolved in water, hyaluronic acid forms a gel-like structure that lies on the skin as a thin film and bonds with the ceramides of the skin via hydrogen bonds. In this way, hyaluronic acid can bind very large quantities of water in the stratum corneum and only releases them after several hours - this results in a hydrating depot effect. With increasing age, the body's own production of hyaluronic acid continues to decline. The skin loses its elasticity and lines and wrinkles form. Care products with hyaluronic acid can compensate or soften these skin changes.Beeswax (Cera Alba): Is a natural wax produced by honeybees. It is almost insoluble in water and thus protects especially the sensitive skin from moisture loss. Beeswax was already known in ancient times almost 2000 years ago in skin care and its softening effect was appreciated.Medilan: Is pharmaceutical lanolin of exceptional purity and highest quality. Medilan is biomimetic active, which means: Medilan perfectly corresponds to the natural structures of the epidermis and thus enables optimal care of the skin. Thus, it is able to compensate for deficiencies of the skin and "repair" skin damage. It effectively strengthens the skin barrier and increases the moisture content of the skin.Cornflower: Are traditionally used for eye compresses and eye baths. The extract from the deep blue flowers of the cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) has a soothing and moisturizing effect.Glycerin: Is a component of the skin's own Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) and has an effective hydrating effect. It has an excellent moisturizing effect and at the same time stabilizes the skin's barrier function. We use glycerin, which is produced on a plant basis.Application: Gently apply around the eye with the ring finger. Also highly recommended as an eye mask.
