The newly developed rewetting solution "lens&lid" is very well tolerated and protects the contact lens from contamination during wear. The optimized composition reduces the deposition of cell residues and other components of the tear film on the surface of the contact lens. Contamination of contact lenses can already occur during wearing and be noticed as unpleasant. In many cases, it is not possible to clean these lenses again by setting them down while they are being worn. Therefore, a continuous mild cleaning effect is desirable to improve the tolerability of contact lenses, especially for probelmatic eyes. The solution is recommended for people who have an increased tendency to greasy and smearing contact lens surfaces and are exposed to very long periods of wear.
