A disturbance of the vaginal microecological balance (e.g. dysbiosis) is often associated with an increase in pH. Vaginal pH values above 4.4 can lead to a variety of gynecological complaints and complications.
Many women suffer from vaginal infections with various complaints, such as itching, burning, increased discharge and unpleasant odor. With pH-Control®, an imbalance of the vagina can be detected at an early stage.
pH-Control® is a reliable, hygienic and painless method for determining the vaginal pH value. As soon as the pH measuring zone on the applicator comes into contact with vaginal secretion, the color changes. This can then be assigned to a value on the color scale. This value is the test result and shows the current vaginal pH value.
Regular use of pH-Control® reliably enables the detection of disturbed vaginal flora. Especially in the case of bacteria in the vagina, if dysbiosis is suspected, during pregnancy, after treatment with antibiotics, in the case of complaints in the intimate area and also as a preventive measure, the use of pH-Control® is useful and recommended. It is best to carry out the measurement twice a week.
Certain events can temporarily change the pH value of the vagina and lead to incorrect results. Therefore, apply ph-Control® at the earliest twelve hours after sexual intercourse or after the use of vaginal therapeutics, only three to four days after the end of your period, at the earliest 15 minutes after urination and not directly after washing.
