CoaguChek Test strips

The blood coagulation test with CoaguChek XS PT test strips can only be performed with fresh capillary blood from the fingertip or with venous whole blood. A measurement must not be performed if anticoagulants such as heparin, EDTA, citrate, oxalate or other corresponding substances have been added to the blood. As soon as the blood test strip has received a sufficient amount of blood, approximately 8 µl, the precise measurement of blood coagulation begins. This takes about 60 seconds. Then you get a reliable result with which you can continue working.
