With the iGenea Expert Test you get the complete package in highest quality and resolution. In addition to the high-resolution DNA analysis results, you receive the most accurate interpretation aid possible. For the origin analysis, the exact subgroup of your haplogroup, your ancestral people of antiquity as well as your region of origin are determined (up to approx. 100,000 years back). You will receive this information for your pure maternal and pure paternal line. In addition, the DNA Explorer test is included, which will tell you the origin of all your ancestors according to percentages and regions (up to approx. 2,000 years back). You will receive a written result with certificate. In your personal online result you will receive three lists of genetic relatives of pure paternal, pure maternal and all other lines. This will allow you to contact your genetic cousins by e-mail and thus expand your knowledge of your ancestry. For the maternal line, the complete mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) is analyzed. For the paternal line, 700 STR markers and approximately 10,000,000 SNP markers of the Y chromosome are analyzed. In addition, approximately 700,000 SNPs (single nucleotide polymorphisms) are tested in contiguous blocks on chromosomes 1 to 22 and X in the DNA Explorer test.
