The main difference is that whey is the raw material for the Whey Protein Concentrate and Whey Protein Isolate, while fresh skimmed milk is the basic ingredient for the micellar casein. Casein has a long-lasting effect in muscle building and muscle maintenance, as well as valuable properties in dietary phases. In contrast to whey proteins, casein belongs to the so-called slow proteins because it is metabolised in the body over several hours. Thus, the muscle-preserving protein supply remains guaranteed even several hours after training, which is why it is recommended to take it before bedtime.
Recommended intake
Mix 1 portion of 30g (1 measuring spoon) per day with 300ml of water and take. Consume directly before bedtime.
