Description
April 1912 on the route Southampton-Cherbourg-Queenstown-New York the British transatlantic R. M. S Titanic collided with the iceberg and sank. This accident is one of the most famous shipping disasters and the subject of many conspiracy theories. The dimensions of this ship were gigantic. Up to 892 crew members served on this ship. It had a length of 268.99 meters and a width of up to 29.41 meters. It was a true wonder of early 20th-century technology.
The ship model consists of 2,840 bricks and is the largest brick model in the history of COBI. The construction is 92 cm long, 10 cm wide and 28 cm high, recreates the smallest detail on a scale of 1:300 and reproduces the shape and solid body of the legendary original. It weighs a total of about 4.5 kg. This set is a real challenge for all building block fans and requires about 8 hours of work. Thanks to a very detailed manual that describes the next steps of construction, using a system of simple symbols and pictograms, everyone will easily understand the construction method and tips for successive actions. No glue or varnish is required and all graphics and subtitles are placed on the pads in the form of very durable prints that will not fade under the influence of sun, water or even intense play. No stickers are used on this model. The set is recommended for builders over 10 years of age. It will certainly create a lot of joy for both the youngest fans and adult history enthusiasts. The model of the ship R. M. S Titanic will certainly look spectacular on the desk of the President of the Grand Corporation, on the library shelf of the history teacher or in the room of any teenager. For even better visibility of the entire model, a special black stand with a ship's name plate is available.
