The pottery clays produced are extremely plastic and can be processed very well. Careful wet processing using the slurry method guarantees consistent quality. The natural properties of the raw clays are thus preserved. Bodmer pottery clays are excellent glaze carriers thanks to their ideal lime content. Bodmer engobes and glazes up to 1020 °C are matched to these clays and offer the best guarantee for perfect ceramic products. Clay is sensitive to frost. Should it freeze nevertheless once, let it thaw in packaging and store for some time. Then knead well.
