Gebr. Lichter Ocher. With pastels from Schmincke, you are practically at the origin of color. The round sticks consist only of the best artist pigments and a minimum of binder. In a traditional and very elaborate process, screw presses first form the pre-kneaded dough into round strands which are then removed by hand and cut to the appropriate length in wire-covered frames. The still wet sticks have to air dry for about 8 days until they are labeled by hand.
