Description
Monkey wooden figure. The classic is back thanks to the Danish manufacturer Rosendahl: Kay Bojesen's (1886-1958) premise was that his works should radiate unaffected liveliness, "... every line should smile". Somewhat apart from his main field of activity as a master silversmith, these principles come to light above all in the wooden figures - intended as toys (from 6 years), but today also firmly in collectors' hands: monkey and bear make us dream of wilderness, forest and adventure quite independently of our own age. And that this has worked for generations is proven by the fact that the cute spider monkey by Kay Bojesen was exhibited in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London as early as 1950. Rosendahl has the mischievously smiling monkey finely handcrafted from certified teak and limba wood, so that - depending on the size - it can clamber around on or against any shelf.
