The report Elrond worried about Arwen's trip to Rivendell. He asks the heroes to find out the reason for the increasing orc activity along the Misty Mountains. This task has taken the group south, to Moria, but between them and the doors of Durin lies a deep dark lake. While the heroes are still looking for a way around the lake, something ancient evil awakens in him and rises from the depths. A desperate battle ensues and the heroes must either drive the creature to flight or seek shelter in the mines. The Sirannon is cursed and a large lake slumbers in front of Moria below the cliffs. The players have to get to the hidden doors of Durin and the mines behind them.
The Guardian in the Water is the exciting third expansion of the second plot cycle of adventure packs. The third pack of the Zwergenbinge cycle consists of 60x cards.
