Since the dawn of time, shamans have protected the spirit worlds from the threat of the shadows. This mission has never been more dangerous. Even before the moon reaches its zenith, you as a shaman must restore the balance between the worlds or the universe will plunge into chaos!
Shamans is an interactive, turn-based trick-taking game by game designer Cédrick Chaboussit and illustrator Maud Chalmel for 3 to 5 players aged 10 and up. You play an indefinite number of lunar cycles in which shamans and shadows confront each other and you have to assess your opponent.
Because new teams are secretly formed each round, the teams can change with each moon cycle and you have to find out who your supporters are by deduction.
In the end, the winner is the one of you who has collected the most victory points. It is important that you take action for the right side, because you get victory points via various effects during the game, but also when your team wins a moon cycle. So think carefully so you can see through who is shadow and who is shaman!
