"Once upon a time there was a witch who lived alone in her house deep in the forest. Her favourite pastime was baking delicious gingerbread, in fact, she loved gingerbread so much that she built her whole house out of it. Unfortunately, she wasn't the only one who loved it! The rudest fairy tale characters who passed by gnawed away at her walls, windows and doors! One day the witch decided she'd had enough of them all helping themselves and, paying attention to the types of gingerbread these greedy intruders liked best, she came up with an idea to get rid of them once and for all....In Gingerbread House, you place domind tiles in a 3 by 3 grid, covering the symbols that provide you with four different types of gingerbread and special actions. Tiles can also be placed on top of existing tile types, forming a 3D structure in front of you. Covering two identical symbols is very useful, as it provides a bonus gingerbread or action. Victory points are awarded for building the highest structure, for completing orders, as well as for being the fastest to reach certain objectives. In the end, the player with the most victory points wins.
