It really pisses Jakob off that Mom has moved to the country with him just because she wants to live with her Hannes. They had a nice time together in the small apartment under the roof. Jakob is disgruntled as he wanders through the fields, feeling left out and dwelling on his memories. But then he meets a wild, funny girl who would love to be a country bumpkin! Pia, who spends every free day with her grandpa in the village, knows everything and everyone here. She takes Jakob on adventurous forays, and he experiences the happiness of being free in the midst of nature and a small village community. From here, his way back to the feeling of security at home with Mama - and in the end even with Hannes - is not far at all.
