Product Overview The Spektrum ™ S2100 Smart Charger is the first dual output smart charger to feature Spektrum Smart Charging technology. Small and portable, this 200W charger features the brand new Spektrum IC3 ™ connector that provides a solid connection, and also reads the LiPo's individual parameters and relays them to a bright color LCD display to give you an easy-to-read indication of how many charge cycles your Smart LiPo has had and more. Smart Charging Technology When connected to a Spektrum Smart LiPo, all of your individual LiPo parameters and LiPo battery history are transferred from the Smart microchip to your Smart Charger. Through the charger, you can set and record preferred settings such as charge current and self-discharge options, so all you have to do is press the start button. The "smart" technology will take care of the rest. Each Smart LiPo charger is factory equipped with the IC3™ charging connector, which displays stored battery information directly on the LCD screen via a data transfer pin. Easy Preset charge, discharge and storage voltage parameters are automatically recalled by your Spektrum Smart LiPo, making charging as easy as pressing the Start button. The charge current of individual batteries can be specifically adjusted so you can take full advantage of batteries with higher charge capabilities. The integrated microchip on each Smart LiPo remembers the last charge current setting. The next time you connect it, these settings will be displayed automatically. All you have to do is press start. Another great feature that the Smart microchip allows is balancing while charging with just one plug. When you plug in your IC3 or IC5 battery, the individual cell voltage is automatically relayed to the Smart charger, allowing you to balance your LiPo without using pesky standard balancer plugs. New IC3 and IC5 Connectors The innovative Smart connection is enabled by a built-in microchip on each battery that relays individual information via a data cable through the new iC3 and iC5 connectors. The iC Series connectors are designed from the ground up to provide a solid connection, higher heat resistance and effortless installation. Slotted connectors provide a precise connection that is easy to mate and unmate, while convenient solder pads allow for easy installation in your model.
